    hmm so many people have highlighted this to me this year, but haven’t we been having these for years now? What’s special about 9?
    I don’t recall anyone mentioning it to me in any of the previous years, that’s all. Maybe there’s been a sudden collective realisation. ;o)

    I should start smoking again, clearly.

    Josie – yes, there’s always next year – all the 10s will be quite interesting. :o)

    morte – it’s perfectly possible i’ve seen it pointed out somewhere else, and that’s why i paid more attention to it this year than in previous years. :o) I don’t know, though, somehow the fact it’s all 9s does seem to make it more interesting than 08:08 08/08/08 would have been. Like i said, i have a tiny mind. ;o)

    Lucy McGough – it may match one of yours for brevity, but not for insight or erudition. :o)
